Today, our parish family at Sacred Heart and Immaculate Conception rejoices with deep gratitude as twenty of our young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 2:00 PM Mass, celebrated with Archbishop Thomas Zinkula.   • What is a pastorate?

    A pastorate is a grouping of parishes with one pastorate that shares resources, ministries, programs, and staff. The Oelwein Pastorate is currently named that way because Sacred Heart is the largest parish in the pastorate. In the next year or two, the parishes in our pastorate will canonically merged into one parish.
