There are so many people to thank for making today’s 150th Anniversary Celebration of Sacred Heart so incredibly special.

First, a heartfelt thank-you to those who so often work quietly behind the scenes—the ladies affectionately known as our “kitchen ladies,” “Catholic sisters,” and “worker bees.” You outdid yourselves! The dinner was absolutely delicious and could have rivaled any professional caterer. Your hard work, generosity, and love were evident in every detail.

To our 150th Anniversary Committee—thank you for three years of planning, organizing, and dreaming up events that brought our parish family together and honored the rich history of Sacred Heart. What a labor of love these past three years have been.

A very special thank-you to Archbishop Zinkula, our three priests of the pastorate; Father Huber, Father Isaac, and Father Anderson, and our two deacon Jims. The beautiful Mass and the time you so graciously shared with us made this milestone celebration even more meaningful. Your presence will not be forgotten.

And finally—and perhaps most importantly—thank you to the generations of faithful members of Sacred Heart Parish.

For 150 years, you have supported this parish, loved this parish, served this parish, and most importantly, kept the faith.

We stand today on the foundation built by those who came before us, and now it is our privilege to carry that faith forward for the generations yet to come.

God bless you all, and here’s to the next 150 years in Christ at Sacred Heart!

150 years of faith. 150 years of family. 150 years of Sacred Heart.
