Most importantly, today we honor the thousands of parishioners and families who have called Sacred Heart their spiritual home during the past 150 years.

They are the true foundation of this parish.

They built the church. They supported the school. They welcomed newcomers. They taught the faith to their children and grandchildren. They served on committees, sang in choirs, volunteered at events, cared for those in need, and faithfully gathered around the altar week after week.

Through their sacrifices, generosity, perseverance, and faith, the traditions of Sacred Heart were not only preserved but strengthened for future generations.

Today we remember those who came before us, those who are with us today, and those who will follow us in the years ahead. Their stories are the story of Sacred Heart Parish.

To every pastor, sister, teacher, volunteer, benefactor, parishioner, and family who has been part of these past 150 years, we say simply:
