As part of our year‑long celebration of Sacred Heart’s 150th Anniversary, we invite you to join us for a parish pilgrimage filled with history, beauty, fellowship, and faith. This special bus trip offers not only visits to two remarkable Iowa landmarks, but a full day spent with fellow parishioners, sharing stories, laughter, prayer, and the joy of being a community rooted in Christ for a century and a half.

Trip Agenda

• 7:45 AM – Load the bus at the Sacred Heart Parking Lot
• 8:00 AM – Depart for an adventure of a lifetime
• 10:30 AM – Arrive at Camp Algona POW Museum
• 12:30 PM – Lunch at Pizza Ranch, Algona
• 2:00 PM – Visit the Grotto of the Redemption
• A powerful spiritual experience
• One of the most extraordinary religious shrines in the world
• 4:30 PM – Depart for home
• ~7:30 PM – Estimated arrival back in Oelwein
