It has been a blessing from God that I have been called to ordination as a Permanent Deacon in the Archdioceses of Dubuque.  I am married to my wife Cheryl, have two wonderful married adult children and six fantastic grandchildren.   Currently I am retired as Deacon at Sacred Heart Parish in Oelwein, IA and Immaculate Conception Parish in Fairbank, IA.

 While I am considered RETIRED, I remain active.  I am happy to help the parish at any time when called upon.  I look forward to many more years of serving with and for the people of God at Sacred Heart and in our new Pastorate.
